What is the Clans of the Forest Prophecy Pack?
The Prophecy Pack is one of the first confirmed add-ons for Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest. Despite the name, it should not be confused with Prophecy Mode, the game's four-story RPG mode. The pack is a collection of additional customization and photo-mode options rather than a new story campaign.
Official Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox listings agree on the contents. The pack expands the already large character-creation system with additional accessories and a different visual skin, then adds poses and visual effects for players who want more options when taking screenshots in photo mode.
That distinction matters because the word “Prophecy” appears in two very different products. Prophecy Mode is part of the base game. The Prophecy Pack is optional additional content. You do not need the pack to access the four Clan stories described for Prophecy Mode.
Everything included in the Prophecy Pack
The publisher's current storefront description lists five categories of content:

The 8 cat-creator accessories expand the options available while designing your Warrior Cat. The base game already advertises millions of possible customization combinations, so these are additions to an existing creator rather than the feature itself.
The 12 wearable accessories are another customization category. The official listings do not yet provide a complete item-by-item list or explain whether every wearable can be equipped simultaneously, so any detailed inventory circulating before launch should be treated cautiously unless it can be traced to official material.
The cel-shaded character skin is the most visually distinctive item named in the pack. Storefronts describe it as a character skin; they do not say that it changes stats, combat abilities or progression. It is therefore best understood as a visual option unless the released game documents additional behavior.
Finally, the pack includes 4 cat poses and 4 effects for photo mode. These are explicitly photo-mode additions, not combat moves or emotes confirmed for normal gameplay.
How much does the Prophecy Pack cost?
Nintendo's official US storefront currently lists the standalone Prophecy Pack at $14.99, with an October 23, 2026 release date matching the base game. Prices can vary by platform and region, so $14.99 should not be treated as a universal worldwide price.
There is another useful way to evaluate its cost. On the US PlayStation Store, the Standard Edition is listed at $29.99 and the Feral Edition at $39.99. The Feral Edition includes the base game plus the Prophecy Pack, making the upgrade from Standard to Feral $10 at those listed US prices.
That creates an interesting pre-launch value comparison: a player who already wants the Prophecy Pack may get it more cheaply as part of the Feral Edition than by buying the Standard Edition and later paying Nintendo's currently listed $14.99 standalone DLC price. Platform pricing can change, however, and separate DLC pricing should always be checked on the storefront where you intend to play.

Is the Prophecy Pack included in the Feral Edition?
Yes. This is explicitly confirmed across first-party storefronts. PlayStation lists the Feral Edition as containing Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest plus the Prophecy Pack, while Nintendo describes the Feral Edition bundle and repeats the pack's full content list. Xbox also identifies the Prophecy Pack as included in the Feral Edition.
The Feral Edition therefore does not appear to add a separate exclusive story campaign. Its clearly documented upgrade is the Prophecy Pack's customization and photo-mode content.
This is worth emphasizing because edition names can make premium versions sound like they contain gameplay expansions. Based on the current official listings, players choosing Standard still receive the core game, including Prophecy Mode, Defender Mode and Skirmish Mode.
Prophecy Pack vs Prophecy Mode
The similar names make this one of the easiest parts of Clans of the Forest to misunderstand.
Prophecy Mode is one of the game's three confirmed game types. It contains four original stories centered on Clan life, with official Warrior Cats material describing storylines for ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan.
Prophecy Pack, by contrast, is DLC containing accessories, a visual skin, photo poses and photo effects.
Buying the Prophecy Pack does not appear to unlock Prophecy Mode, and buying the Standard Edition does not mean losing the story mode. Prophecy Mode belongs to the core game's feature set.

Prophecy Pack vs Purrfect Look Pack
These are also separate products.
The Prophecy Pack is included in Feral Edition and can be listed as standalone DLC. Its contents are publicly itemized into creator accessories, wearables, a cel-shaded skin, photo poses and photo effects.
The Purrfect Look Pack is being offered as a preorder bonus. Official Nintendo wording says qualifying purchases made before the stated launch cutoff receive the Purrfect Look Pack, which contains additional character-creator elements. It should not be described as another name for the Prophecy Pack.
That means a preorder of the Feral Edition can involve both: the Prophecy Pack because it is part of Feral, and the Purrfect Look Pack because it is the preorder incentive. See our preorder guide for the current conditions.
Does the Prophecy Pack add new story content?
Nothing in the official content list identifies new quests, story chapters, Clans, locations or characters as Prophecy Pack features. Every currently itemized addition concerns customization or photo mode.
For that reason, we are classifying it as cosmetic/photo-mode DLC, not story DLC. If Trailmark Games later announces additional functionality, this page will be updated, but it would be misleading to advertise an extra prophecy storyline based solely on the pack's name.
The four original Clan stories belong to Prophecy Mode in the base game.
Is the Prophecy Pack worth it?
The answer depends mostly on how much you value customization. Players primarily interested in the story, exploration, hunting or turn-based combat do not currently have a confirmed gameplay reason to need the pack. The base game already contains the core modes and advertises millions of character customization combinations.
For players who expect to spend significant time in the cat creator or photo mode, the value proposition is clearer: 20 accessories across the two listed accessory categories, a cel-shaded visual option and eight photo-mode additions give the premium edition a defined cosmetic purpose.
At the currently listed US PlayStation edition prices, the $10 jump from Standard to Feral is also smaller than Nintendo's $14.99 US standalone Prophecy Pack price. If you already know you want the DLC, that makes Feral the more attractive pre-launch bundle on paper. Do not assume the same price relationship in every region or on every storefront.

There is not currently a dedicated official Prophecy Pack YouTube trailer that provides a more complete explanation than the storefront listings. The main announcement trailer remains useful for seeing the game's broader visual style, character creator, environments and combat, but it should not be treated as a frame-by-frame catalog of Prophecy Pack cosmetics.
What still needs to be confirmed after launch?
The official listings give us the quantities, but several practical details remain worth checking when the game releases:
- The names and appearance of all 8 cat-creator accessories.
- The names and appearance of all 12 wearable accessories.
- Whether accessories have slot or combination restrictions.
- Exactly how the cel-shaded skin interacts with fur colors and patterns.
- Whether photo poses are available to every created cat immediately.
- Whether the pack is cross-entitled between platforms where cross-buy features exist.
- Final standalone pricing on every platform and in every region.
Until those details are documented, we will avoid inventing item names or treating promotional imagery as proof of a specific accessory list.
