Confirmed environmental differences

Steam distinguishes the four territories by terrain: ThunderClan’s dense forests, RiverClan’s marshlands, ShadowClan’s dark pine swamps and WindClan’s open moors.^[3] Those environments matter because exploration includes climbing, undergrowth movement, scent tracking and environmental puzzles. The exact mechanical advantages of each terrain have not been published.

What we know about Clan-specific combat

Trailmark confirms specialized Clan moves and says players can build a move set and exploit enemy weaknesses.^[1] It does not yet publish a full move list or a verified stat identity such as “ThunderClan = tank” or “WindClan = fastest.” Any pre-launch ranking that assigns exact strengths should be treated as speculation.

Franchise lore versus game mechanics

The books give each Clan a recognizable culture, history and environmental identity. That background is useful context, but it should not be converted automatically into game stats. For example, RiverClan’s association with swimming in the books does not prove a specific swimming skill tree in the game.
