What asynchronous den visits mean

Trailmark says players can “show off” a customized warrior to friends through asynchronous online den visits.[1] Asynchronous normally means players do not need to be present in the same live session, and the wording is clearly different from a shared co-op campaign. The publisher has not yet explained friend lists, privacy settings or exactly what visitors can interact with.

Why Steam tags can be confusing

Steam’s community-defined tags may include “Multiplayer,” but the official feature list on the same page shows Single-player.[2] User-defined tags are not the same as developer-confirmed features. For feature verification, this page gives more weight to the official feature list and publisher description.

Retailer fields point the same way

GameStop currently lists Number of Players: 1, Online Multiplayer: false and Co-op Mode: false.[3] Retailer metadata can occasionally be wrong, but here it aligns with Steam and with Trailmark’s much narrower description of asynchronous den sharing.

What would change this answer

If Trailmark later announces co-op, PvP or live shared exploration, this page should be revised immediately. Until then, calling the game an MMO, online RPG or four-player co-op game would overstate what has actually been announced.

Online features and multiplayer scope

The current information describes a single-player RPG with asynchronous den visits, not a confirmed co-op campaign or competitive mode. Online features should therefore be separated into solo progression, visiting another player’s den and any future multiplayer announcement. Do not treat an online connection requirement as proof of multiplayer combat.
