Move collection versus move loadout
Steam says the player learns new combat moves, while Trailmark says to build a move set.[1][2] Together, those descriptions imply that the player can acquire more moves than are necessarily used at once, although the exact number of slots is not public.
Stances add another build layer
Trailmark separately tells players to experiment with combat stances.[2] We do not yet know whether a stance is itself a move, a persistent modifier or a category that changes available actions. Until the UI is shown clearly, this guide avoids inventing stance names or effects.
Clan identity and enemy weaknesses
Specialized Clan moves and enemy weaknesses are both confirmed.[2] That gives the combat system a reason to care about matchup and loadout selection. What remains unknown is whether Clan moves are exclusive, how many each Clan receives and whether weaknesses use damage types, status effects or situational conditions.

No tier list before the data exists
A “best moves” tier list requires verified effects, costs, unlock timing and encounter context. Before release, ranking moves would either depend on incomplete trailer footage or fabrication. This page is intentionally a system guide until those data exist.
Post-launch data fields
- Move name and description
- Clan restriction, if any
- Unlock source and rank requirement
- Targeting and effect
- Cost, cooldown or resource use
- Interactions with stances and StarClan
- Useful enemies or bosses
Frequently asked questions
Can you learn new moves?
Yes.
Can you choose a move set?
Yes, the publisher explicitly says players can build a move set.
Are there combat stances?
Yes, although exact stance names and effects are not public.
What are the best moves?
There is not enough verified data for a meaningful tier list yet.
How to evaluate combat moves
Players can expect move training, custom move sets and tactical choices, but the available sources do not publish a complete move database. When new information arrives, record the move type, Clan association, target, cost, unlock condition and useful matchup rather than relying on a generic “best build” claim.
